The thing I love about MM is, to me at least, it's a project with origins similar to MFPNP where it's world was built via online forms and communities built around what if questions, which the OC then took (with permission) to create a plot and story built around it, all independently and for free online. It's something I'd love to do again someday with a new idea and group

@@sonja9813 It makes no logical sense but it is entertaining. I mean James Dean is alive and now suddenly there are giant demonic snakes, flying heads, moving killer statues etc. I mean what the hell does James Dean have to do with demonic shit existing? Makes no sense. Plus suddenly there is an angel let's forget about the demon snake he is probably sleeping THE ANGEL IS IN NOW LET'S GO DEATH ANGEL. And then the angel that is for all intent and purpose a weaker Dr Manhantan dukes it out with random statut that has no powers outsides killing FAST and apparently the entire world explodes and it awakes hell snake.

Corner folk starts out reminding me of a Lovecraft(ian?) story I listened to awhile back. In the story the guy who figures it out realizes if they notice you they come after you, so he ends up trying to plaster/tape the corners of his room, to make his space circular. It's one of those old stories from Weird Tales, and it's not very similar to this story, except the existence of cornerfolk

Great video but I think this might be the worst analog horror I’ve ever seen, it just feels like the creator had a ton of surface level ideas and decided to do all of them instead of creating something cohesive, like a lot of this could be cool in isolation but all put together it feels unfocused and nonsensical, like the Giza glass stuff, at first it’s a rare material that can cut people into pieces while keeping them alive and connected which is potentially a pretty cool idea, then it’s being used to make swords for people to behead people with in the Grand Canyon which makes no sense, why do they need to be beheaded, why not just shoot them if protecting the areas is so important, then the heads which are left for some reason become big and magical and the gov that created the magic swords for the purpose of beheading people are surprised that there’s so many living heads? What were they expecting to happen? If the people with the swords were meant to be beheading regular people why would you give them magic swords that don’t actually kill them when a regular sword (or even better, just give them a gun) works perfectly fine? Then to destroy the head it’s once again Giza glass being used as a laser, which leaves the people using it alive even after separating them into individual atoms, but somehow it did kill the giant heads?? This feels like it’s being made up as the creator goes along in the worst way possible, only thinking about how cool an idea is in isolation which makes the story as a whole completely nonsensical because of the stupid decisions the characters have to make in order to actually make everything connect up… going back to the heads, the whole point of using the laser to destroy the airships is so people don’t realise the heads are being used for them so america isn’t revealed as being responsible right? But how do giant floating heads get moved from america to Germany and used to create these airships without anyone knowing? If the gov has the ability to move the statue of freedom into the Grand Canyon, why didn’t they move it somewhere secure where people couldn’t accidentally find it, saving them needing to create the problem of giant floating heads in the first place? Why does the statue never try and leave the Grand Canyon when everything we are told about it suggests it could easily do so? Why did they decide to make Giza glass swords when a regular gun would be far far more effective at the job they want doing? The creator treats Giza glass the same way a lot of bad fantasy treats made up materials, by treating it as a magical macguffin that can do anything the story needs it to, it’s seemingly nigh indestructible (otherwise why not just destroy or partly destroy the freedom statue instead of letting it roam free as if there’s no way of controlling it, it’s been sat doing nothing on a roof for however many years so why wouldn’t it just go back to sleep? Why was it just asleep in the first place?), it can cut anything it needs to even indestructible trees, it can cut things without killing them, it can be used as a laser that can destroy airships and kill the giant magical heads inside, but also it’s a laser that can’t kill people, but a sword made out of it wielded by a statue made out of it can kill the same people the laser couldn’t, even though the laser was powerful enough to kill the head even though swords weren’t??
