Lyrics:
Everywhere is freaks and hairies
Dykes and fairies, tell me, where is sanity?
Tax the rich, feed the poor
'Til there are no rich no more
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you
Population keeps on breeding
Nation bleeding, still more feeding, economy
Life is funny, skies are sunny
Bees make honey, who needs money? No, not poor me
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you
Oh, yeah
World pollution, there's no solution
Institution, electrocution
Just black and white, rich or poor
Them and us, stop the war
I'd love to change the world
But I don't know what to do
So I'll leave it up to you

Spot on. Refer to this song to all the young and ignorant in today's world who sit and judge like they have all the answers. Hatred is spreading all over the world and so many still play the name game. There was always truth and comfort in music and now, we are even allowing cursing in the Fine Arts.

It's just man like he's always done, abusing GOD'S gift of free will. We don't know what the hell we're doing really. Nor the true power behind that gift, and the act of true love behind continually granting it to us inspite of the plague of horrors we bring on this earth thru that abuse! 🤷‍♂️😞

The “recreational” offerings, that were so readily available during this era, made for taking so many “magical trips”, while absorbing an almost daily plethora of amazing new music! I am also grateful that I was able to partake in so much of what life had to offer as we were spinning off of the “hippie culture” of the sixties into, what I believe, was the most creative age of rock n roll music throughout the seventies. Still waiting though for some, or even one, of those “flashbacks”, we were warned so much about, to occur!! Peace, Love, Blessings, and Prosperity, unto you and yours! God Bless!!

This music makes me feel like I’m home. How can so much pass so quickly ? Sobering and really sad to grapple with. I guess those of us still here and younger can garner comfort from-it’ll be for all of us the same way one day. But life is really endless …like the music ❤️

I have had many 'favourite' songs over the years, bit this is timeless - written 50 odd years ago and still every bit as relevant today as it was when it was first recorded. A genius composition if there ever was one. Amazing lyrics and guitar work that cannot be beaten. Thank you!

They are popular among those who grew up with this album or in my case 8 track. My brother and I listened to this when we woke up and when we fell asleep. We wore out the tape literally. Along with Zep 3 and Aqualung. Wore those out too!! Damn we grew up musically spoiled.✌️💜🎸🎶

Got to listen to TYA, Shocking Blue, Janice, Dylan, The Doors, Jefferson Airplane ( before they became Starship) and so many other great artists.
