This is a long shot but when putting those rockers and push rods back in is there anything specific I need to do to put them back in? My dad tried to fix my jeep and got the heads off and then just stopped working on it. That was 2 years ago and I dont have the money to pay someone to fix it so im going to try to do it myself but I'm stuck on that part and don't want to mess it up

The rockers and push rods are all the same and can be put in any position. The push rods have no top or bottom either. Though, if you're reusing them, it's best to put them back on the same cylinder from where they were removed. If you're unsure from which cylinder they were removed, then inspect the condition of all of the push rod ends. They should have a mirrored finish. If they look machined, then they're worn and should be replaced along with the corresponding lifter or rocker arm. If there is no wear on any push rod ends, then you'll likely be fine to install them in any position. Replacement is always best, if possible, to avoid any top end knocking. I hope this helps, and thanks for watching!
