A natural tenor determined to be a soprano. That speaking voice gives it away every time. That's why that falsetto sounds so squeezed.

Cameron King .. A natural hater determined to hate. Let her do her! Also, your "natural" singing (tone) voice is not governed by your "natural" speaking (tone) voice. "Natural" singers know this.

I agree with both of you. Some singers can naturally sing octaves above their talking voice, but sometimes you can hear the struggle or tin sound once she's sung a long time. Also, sometimes, not just with her, but a lot of Gospel singers, there are times when the gift seems to be more important than the anointing. That's our fault as audience members too, because we're so critical, people don't want to disappoint. The message has to be ultimately more valued than the skill of acrobatics of the delivery. No hate here, I like Chrystal, but you can tell sometimes. I don't know if she's a natural tenor, maybe alto. God bless her as she ministers!
