【川名津神楽】スサノオノミコトがヤマタノオロチを酒で酔わせて退治する舞

【神楽の由来】
八幡浜市川名津地区では天満宮の春の例大祭において「柱松神事」が抜り行われます。
「柱松」と呼ばれる長さ12間（約20m）の御神木を山から切り出し、海水で清めたあと神社境内に建て、その横で神楽を奉納し厄火払いと氏子繁栄などを祈願するものです。この神事は寛政政6年（1794年）に浦中残らず焼失する大火があり、これを契機に厄火赦いとして始まったと言われています。
深夜、神楽のクライマックスに大魔が火のついた2mの松明を背負い柱松の頂上に登り、
松明を四方に振りかざして国家安穏・五穀豊穣・氏子製栄・海上安全・鎮火を祈願して松明を地上に投下。役目を終えた大魔は、支えの網を伝って地上に降り、神楽と柱松神事は終了。
大魔が柱松に登ることも神楽の一演目に含まれていることから、柱松と神楽は一体のものと
位置付けられています。
暮れ時の6時ごろから神楽が始まり、深夜0時ごろまで23演目の神楽が舞われます。

The Origin of Kagura
In the Kawanazu district of Yawatahama City, the "Hashimatsu Shinto ritual" is performed during the spring festival of Tenmangu Shrine.
A 12-ken (20-meter-long) sacred tree called "Hashimatsu" is cut from the mountain, purified with seawater, and erected on the shrine grounds. This ritual is said to have originated in 1794, when a large fire burned down the entire Uraku area.
At midnight, at the climax of the kagura performance, Daima climbs to the top of Hashimatsu, carrying a 2-meter torch on fire,
The torch is then swung in all directions to pray for national peace, a bountiful harvest, the prosperity of the shrine, safety at sea, and the extinguishing of the fire, before being thrown to the ground. After completing his role, Daima descends to the ground through a net of support, and the Kagura and Hashimatsu Shinto rituals come to an end.
Since the Daima's ascent to the Hashimatsu is part of the kagura performance, the Hashimatsu and the kagura are considered to be one and the same.
Hashimatsu and Kagura are positioned as one and the same.
The kagura begins around 6:00 p.m. at dusk, and 23 kagura performances are performed until around midnight.
Shina no Mai
A dance in which rice is offered to the gods of heaven and earth to pray for the prosperity of the nation and its clansmen.
The "Great Serpent Extermination
This is an expression of the myth of the great serpent extermination in the Kojiki and Nihonshoki.
Orochi by making him drunk with sake.
