@@Blackangelsean One of the basics of any school of Tai Chi is foot work. I can't see your foot work is properly done. Sorry for my harsh comment.

@ That is getting to the points. Most Taichi requires the foot works to be smooth and light, based on the principle of distinctions of weight. In my school, those are referred as Crane forms, which is the first stage. Then comes the Tiger forms, and finally the Dragon forms. In this instructive demo video, I tend to make the imbalance distinctive, which is a couching process. Once students can comprehend the underlying dynamics, they can move on to smooth the steps.

@ We might try something interesting. Trying to lift our knee by contracting our Dantien(lower abdomen), just a little bit, without shifting our weights. It is nearly impossible. Then we can shift a little bit so to lift our knees just one inch. We can discover and train the muscles/ lesions from our waist(lower spine) linked to our thighs.
