This is honestly so disappointing. I’m happy with the top 6 but I just feel like Xu Yiyang deserves to debut. She can sing, dance, and has amazing visuals. Don’t get me wrong, I like Zhang Yifan but like you guys probably saw in many comments, I just feel that she’s not ready to debut. She lacks skills. I don’t want ppl to hate on her just because she isn’t ready tho bc everyone can progress but I’m just so disappointed that Yiyang didn’t debut. She perfectly fitted the spot. Tencent and Zhang Yifan’s company really did dirty. Yifan’s company payed the show for her to debut. They say that the members get chosen to debut by fans voting but you can check online and on Weibo that Xu Yiyang has more than triple the amount of votes than Zhang Yifan (Yiyang has about 2.8M and Yifan has about 800k from what I see). Overall I’m just really disappointed I rly want to follow this group and I love all the members but I feel like whenever I see it I’ll get sad :( oh well I hope for them to be successful 💗💗💗

Hate to break it to ya but Yifan actually had 0.99 thousand so if you round it up basically 1 mil. I don’t check Weibo often so I’m not sure about the actual truths behind this. What I do know is that this show is mostly about how they grow and popularity. Zhang Yifan probably progressed the most out of all the girls. Like she didn’t even know how to SING when she came to Chuang 2020. If that’s not progress I’m not sure what is.

At the start of the show, it is announced that yiyang improved at her rank compared to 1/7 12:00 rank. She was eight on 1/7. That means she was already in the debut line at around 8 o'clock. They were so close in making a really strong girl group. If they had Xuyiyang, the 3 dancers would have balanced with the 4 strong vocals, which is really important for the overall group presentation. Now they have 4 vocals who are not particularly strong in dance (not that they can't dance), 2 dancers and 1 who is neither strong in singing or dancing (modern dance). If we're looking at individual skills for the centre spot, I think Yiyang is the only one who could rival Curley in the top spot.

Edit2: Please guys don`t hate on/attack Yifan, she has done nothing wrong. It`s Tencent and her company that was shady. The sad thing is... Xu Yiyang`s data (her Donation) is meant she is actually top 7 or 5, even. *to clarify final vote mostly relied heavily on donation(because they use it the buy yogurt milk = a lot of votes) which the fandom release theirs, so it could predict who is the final line. This is shady shit right here. My thoughts for anyone who cares: 1. XLNYG: Great vocals, and decent dancer who could probably improve in the future. Probably one of the few girls left who had the ability to take the C position. 2. ZY: Decent vocalist and dancer, but surprised she was able to place this high. A very good and memorable performance in River, but can't say much for the rest of her performances. 3. WYJ: Seems like more of an all-rounder compared to Curley, and definitely has the ability to compete for the centre position with Curley. Feels like a good fit for a girl's group, but surprised to see her 3rd. Thought maybe around 5th when considering the other competition she faced 4. CZX: Vocals can easily match Curley's, and similar to Curley when you take into account dancing. Definitely showed in Phoenix that her dancing is decent as well. 5. Nene: Definitely felt like she deserved slightly higher than 5th, but a good vocalist, and liked her performance in Bomb. 6. LXN: Best dancer in the group, probably by a country mile. Vocals aren't shabby either. 7. ZYF: Most contentious decision on the night (which you would assume correctly brings the most thoughts I have on the group, and cause there's not much debating to be had between the first 6). You could definitely see she has worked hard during the show, but I don't feel like she's the right fit for a girl group. Positions 1-6, you can say there isn't much debate as all the girls had the ability and capability in a girl's group, and you could definitely envisage how their performances could work together in the future. But trying to fit ZYF into the previous 6 does take a bit of work, and even then, looks weird when you try and imagine it. Not wanting to get into the talk of it being rigged or anything (mainly cause I don't know the whole story), but from a performance perspective, it's hard to see how ZYF is able to get in over XYY or ZZA. Not trying to hate on ZYF, but personally, I think that ZYF doesn't show enough qualities that allow her to become a girl group member, or a member when you take into account the previous 6 contestants. However, the biggest problem, you could say, I have with ZYF is her overall appearance, and it's not just looks, although it plays a small part. You could see it in the Phoenix performance, but her height and length of her arms/legs draw your attention away from whoever was singing, or whoever had a small dance solo, which detracts from the whole performance. I remember WYB in the first Produce 101 show saying that if someone stands out too much in a group, then it's actually a bad thing and would decrease the overall quality of the performance, and I think the same problem is seen here. ZYF's proportions with regard to her body stand out too much for her to be able to not take attention away from the C position. And while her looks aren't that bad, it is difficult to see how she looks in a girl group. If you compare to Yamy or Sunnee from 101, at least Sunnee still gave you a feeling that she would look right in a girl group, and while Yamy has similar features to ZYF (slit eyes, long face, etc.) her abilities when it comes to vocals (rap) and dancing definitely outweighs how people would judge her base on appearance. Unfortunately, ZYF doesn't have the same feeling that Sunnee gives you, nor the abilities Yamy had which allows you to overlook her appearance. Some people may point out how YCY didn't have any ability in dancing or vocals, was only able to cry, yet she was able to come 3rd and debut in 101. What I would say in rebuttal, is that YCY still gave you a feeling that she belonged in a girl group if you take into account appearance, which ZYF doesn't give. Another thing is that while YCY did cry, from memory, she was working hard to practice dance moves and remember lyrics while she cried, whereas I can only recall ZYF crying during position announcements, despite the recency in ZYF compared to YCY. I may be wrong in this disregard, but this is from my immediate memory. And the last thing I would say when comparing YCY and ZYF, which was a point made out by one of the judges in the first Produce 101, and it's the natural affinity YCY has with fans in comparison to ZYF （观众缘）. Despite making many mistakes, and having (being honest) an appalling performance in the 1st episode, YCY's personality and character doesn't make you immediately dislike her and question her ability and place in a girls' group. I don't think you can say the same for ZYF. These are my thoughts on the whole thing. May have gone on a tangent regarding ZYF, but considering the controversy over the whole decision and everything, probably expected.

But 303 is a 7 people group, honestly mostly made up of vocals and only 1-2 dancers, so having 1/7 of the group being pretty useless is definitely going to bring the overall quality down. There's simply not enough room for error or time for ZYF to "grow up".

首先，张亦凡靠黑幕挤掉徐艺洋实在是令人发指！101的时候，尽管杨超越实力也不行，但是明显热度行，她成团尽管让我不爽，但是从来不觉得黑幕。即使有其他实力不错的小姐姐没成团，可是也不会感到气愤到不想看这个团。 其次，希林确实是靠自己的实力成为第一，恭喜！喜欢这样的选手，就是觉得她是一个很好的solo歌手，也能唱跳，她的个人实力综合一下并不会比孟美岐差，却莫名的和团队不搭。这样的c位，加上一个完全黑幕出道的张，看后续吧。 ps：当时看开头说徐艺洋的排名上升，感觉上她并不开心，而黄子韬的表现也是安慰偏多。至于最后宣布排名，徐艺洋的表现明显是知道自己不会上

我其实觉得这个团里并没有综合实力能跟孟美岐C位媲美的。前7大多数都是vocal比较强（就算这样全开麦的个人表演还是翻了好多车）创三的小姐姐们真的很喜欢抱团，但是最后大多数都没能跟她们的闺蜜一起成团，这样的团魂就很尴尬了。。。她们走上台阶的时候唯一去恭喜别人的居然是被鹅场孤立的陈卓璇哈哈，难道这就是 nobody's my best friend but everyone's my friend 吗哈哈哈

Im just gonna say one thing YIFAN IS NOT READY YET , i mean she still needs lots of work on her singing and her dancing isn't as good as many of the other trainees that are not going to debut such as lin junyi and su ruiqi. Amber Zheng her dancing is more mature than half the trainees she trained ballet for a very long time and plus for example yang Chaoyue,she isn’t great at dancing or/and sing but she made 3rd place

What I want to say is that this is a terrible show, which obviously tells us that capital is the most realistic, that you have dreams, you have power, you can't match the power of capital, and that's what makes me sad.Hope Xuyiyang has a better future.I hope she has a better future and also hope that China's talent shows can truly move towards the road of fairness, justice and openness.

the reason i even got into the show was cause of yiyang, but now that she isn’t in the lineup i can’t bring myself to stan the group even tho I like the other 6, I like yifan too she’s such a nice girl but i feel like other ppl deserved it way more than her. i don’t wanna say anything hateful to her since hyewon (my bias in izone) got sm hate just because ppl thought she didn’t deserve it. she improved now, who knows maybe yifan will too in the future?

For those who are confused about Yiyang and Nene's placement, ZYF is with a big company who purchased a final spot before the show even started, hence why they had to give her tons of screentime and reserve a spot for her, tencent thought she would gain a lot of fans if she gets alot of screentime, but she never managed to fulfill that duty, her actual voting data was always outside of top 10. In reality, XYY had the 6th spot locked up (LXN had 5th), but they had to replace someone, they purposely reduced CZX's screentime in recent episodes trying to get her out of the lineup to give to ZYF, but they didn't realize CZX had such a strong fanbase, so unfortunately the end result is, they had to shatter XYY's idol dream and falsify the votes. On top of that data are also showing WYJ's actually 5-7th in voting, but she ended up top three because she is with one of the biggest film companies in the country that houses stars like Yangmi and Dilireba, being in the top 3 means better individual projects and resources in the future, so despite Nene having the votings to back up top 3, her company never had a chance.
