Chubby Checker - Lets Twist Again ( DJ Woofer Remix)

"Let's Twist Again" is a song written by Kal Mann and Dave Appell, and released as a single by Chubby Checker. One of the biggest hit singles of 1961, it reached No.8 on the U.S. Billboard pop chart (No.3 on Cash Box) in August of that year and subsequently reached No.2 in the U.K. in February 1962. The song refers to the Twist dance craze and Checker's 1960 single "The Twist", a two-time U.S. No.1 single (in September 1960 and again in January 1962 on re-release).
The song received the 1962 Grammy Award for Best Rock & Roll Recording. Checker also recorded the song in German as "Der Twist Beginnt" and in Italian as "Balliamo il Twist". A sample of "Der Twist Beginnt" would later be used by The Residents to begin their 1976 album The Third Reich 'n Roll. The song appears on the soundtrack of the 2011 film The Help.[1]
Croatian singer Tatjana Cameron Tajči made a remake of the song in Croatian renaming it Moj mali je opasan. In 1985, Kids Incorporated covered "Let's Twist Again" in the Season 2 episode "Rock of Ages".

I wasn’t putting down the talented dancers or Chubby Checker’s song. I was merely informing those younger people who may have thought this was the twist the dancers were doing. Anyone can check out both the twist and the jitterbug online since they are totally different dancers. Nothing alike.

All the black and white film, they were doing the twist, the color film group were doing the jitterbug. I’m 84 and danced the twist in the mid and late 50’s and on Dick Clark’s American Bandstand in NYC.

Dance clip's were Jive, swing, jitterbug, etc but not twist. If you're going to do a Chubby Checkers twist clip at least get the right dance clip's.

We didn’t think about cheating, lying,bullying, murdering, shooting someone!!!! WE wereTRUE KIDS WHO JUST LOVED TO DANCE THE NEW DANCES ! We didn’t have time for all the crap now that kids do ?????? GO BACK LEARNING DANCES! The songs back then were AWESOME!!!!! You wanted to dance!!!!
