I used to work at a trampoline park and for training we would have to learn how to “make a pizza”. The dough/crust was stored in a freezer and it looked like a stone wheel. We put the sauce, cheese, and toppings on and then sent it through a conveyor belt into an oven which cooked it. Think about it, in the 90s and early 2000s when I was going there weren’t that many consoles or video games to play and they were sometimes easy to beat so begging your parents to go to CEC with the family just hit different. The singles like that are frozen. Most restaurants make them themselves, but they half prep them with sauce and cheese and then freeze them. The full size pizzas are usually fresh. In 1985, Chuck E. Cheese was actually Showbiz Pizza, prior to being rebranded. As a teenager (age 17), I worked there and my duties were salad bar girl, which entailed arriving very early in the mornings to prep, lead cashier and having to don the mouse costume for kiddie’s birthday parties. 😂 Oh the memories…. I worked so hard for that $3.10 an hour. 🤦🏼‍♀️

I went back as an adult literally to try the pizza and compare it to my memories as a kid. The pizza was alright for fast food pizza, the cheese they use is probably the most stand out part. That being said, it’s ridiculously overpriced. Not worth it in the slightest for anything but a once in a quarter century nostalgia trip.

Damn Chuck E. Cheese has gone to shit since I was a kid😂They used to have like a $20 all you can eat + credits for games. Unlimited pizza, salad, and my favorite as a kid was the cinnamon sugar breadsticks they had for dessert. $13 for a tiny ass pizza that wouldn’t even feed 8 year old me after running around Chuck E. Cheese for a few hours is crazy😂😂

I did a doordash for Peter Piper Pizza and when I walked in I was so sad. They had very few games, a whole lotta empty space...and no area to redeem tickets for gifts. Peter Piper was such a big part of my childhood. Never did go to Chuck E Cheese

The Chuck E. Cheese, Pizza is frozen that’s why it tastes like that. It was still delicious eating as a kid while being in that sweaty ball, with that glass that I use to bang on to get my moms attention, while eating the frozen pizza. Good memories. Being a kid was fun.
