went there last night and the animatronic was gone and the place did in fact look quite empty, especially with all the artwork gone. It is a shame as now San Antonio no longer is home to Chuck E. Cheese locations with animatronics. From the 80s until 2024 it was a really long run for a state outside of California. R.I.P to all San Antonio animatronics

I was literally at this location 2 weeks ago. That turned off Chuck E. was once performing songs, and making children happy. And also was at tons of other places around the world. Now they’re being thrown away like junk. It’s just sad.

I had a circle of light stage and I heard its starting its 2.0 remodel by the fact it had a trampoline zone now. Well at least it is keeping the stage.

thats actually exactly what they did. every satx location got 2.0 in either 2017 or 2018 but bandera remodeled to phase 5 in 2015 so instead of remodeling again along with the other ones they waited

@@GigaChadObject Military and Stone Oak are my candidates to that. as much as I glaze Ingram and how it's my local, the layout and vibe was super odd with the phase 4 + botless col with the 3 stage behind it. Bandera and Selma are just mediocre stores, they aren't bad just not retro-worthy and there's not much to them besides Selma being a relocation of Windcrest.
