Personally, I am going to miss "The Big Bang Theory" so much because, in spite of the uncalled for criticism from those typical haters, I still LOVE the show. I also think that it was the best sitcom ever thanks to Chuck Lorre and the rest of his talented crew and cast as well.
@AngelicusImmortus6 жыл бұрын
Robert Polanco it was good but the continual racist and “Indian” culture tropes was too much. Raj’s perpetually hinted homosexuality was over the top. It played a lot on stereotypes when it didn’t need to. There were quite a few episodes where the gang were cruel to one member but it was never called out. Just left there as though it was just funny and the target would just get over it so they could still see Penny or because they went to the same places. Biggest Issue - Stuart never, ever got an equal break. Name the episodes where Stuart was treated kindly with no comeback or actually included. Considering their obsessive comic book addiction they weren’t true friends of the guy who ran the store they always went to.... In the end, one episode of this show cost the same amount of money as the entire first season of Game of Thrones. That’s not an exaggeration or a “haters” remark, it’s a fact.

You are entitled to your opinion; i don't find 'Young Sheldon' all that funny, nor would i watch a whole show of just sheldon cooper without the supporting cast. I do think the characters that they have introduced & just barely fleshed out have potential for another few years run. Krepky & Stuart & his new love interest could be a great "buddy" show with this hapless duo causing trouble & hijinks. It leaves room for the other characters to drop in from time to time. And then we eventually get Krepky a love interest, or blow himself up (either way). If it is well-written i would watch it. That is how we got 'Frasier' after 'Cheers' & it was a huge hit- but Frasier himself was just a side-character only introduced after several years into the run of the show.

Nope, not only in Hollywood. Most of the whole barrage of economic inducements are directed to the working youth through middle age. I'm in my '70s and can see how so much of the culture is centered around youth and preserving one's physical appearance at considerable cost. When I was young, I had very little idea of how to relate to the older generations so was kind but found age an off-putting status. That's just how it was and even though there is now some sensitivity schooling to help build bridges there, the basic impulses seem mostly unchanged.

I do take exception to the whole "don't tell silly stories" take. Uh Chuck, you don't think there was a reason they had to rely on witches, genies, talking horses and flying nuns back in the day? I'd say NONE of Lorre's shows would have made it on the air in the 1960's. And I mean none. You're not getting a show on the air about a guy who gets in every woman's pants in Malibu and passes his bad habits onto his ten year old nephew. I'm pretty sure that CBS would have told him, "try again, or hit the road, bud." You're not talking about that or women's periods, alcoholism, sexual and physical abuse or anything that might have been deemed "controversial" or "inappropriate". Just the way it was then. Big Bang theory is great but I think Mom is one of the best tv shows on today.
@LouisFGraham6 жыл бұрын
Justin Bowen not me. Mom is depressing. I see enough addiction/recovery challenges in real life. I dont need to watch it on screen as well.

I still enjoy it as well but I thought it was a much better show with her Ex Baxter, her kids, her restaurant boss, and the funny chef!

Big Bang Theory will always be my favorite tv show. When i see an old episode itll be like watching an old Andy Griffith episode. Love you man. Wont ever, ever, ever get old. Dang i just wish it coulda gone more seasons. It still has potential and everyone knows it. Why, why, why??????

It's so nice that he's willing to forget the stuff that happened between him and Charlie Sheen. If I ever want to make a sitcom I'll definitely seek his advice

Wow I had to look this guy up bc I watched 12 seasons of Big Bang theory and finished the first season of young Sheldon in 12 days and he also made all these other shows, amazing person.

I'm so sad that BBT is going off the air. :-(I've watched it with my daughter every episode from the very first. And now I'll have to watch the very last. Sad. Love this show and these actors, hope they get some really good gigs in the future.

The Big Bang Theory is a cure to chronic depression, an hero's journey; the best adaptation ever made ( in spirit) of the Don Quixote ( which is not a story about a Donkey named Xote.) It's a time- bending paradigm - shifting concentration of heart laughters brains and wisdom. It's an old friend with whom you can happily age without regretting a single moment...and of course It's the greatest sitcom ever made. Thank you Chuck

I sometimes laughed at lines or facial expressions on TBBT even when the audience didn't seem to get it. But I had the advantage of seeing it through the camera lens, not from a seat way in back behind a tall person. I am going to miss those kids so much! Every single member of the cast. Because they've been in my living room for YEARS, they're like family.

@sahirygnobehi64486 жыл бұрын
Heck 96 ... with all the hit shows he’s given them. He could have threaten them with canceling Big Bang if they didn’t give it two more seasons then cancel it. Please don’t tell me he doesn’t have that power.🤔

Why doesn't everyone appreciate Jon for the 2 and a half men he and Charlie are equally important I think if Jon would have left the show people would actually start recognizing his existence ....
@AlkisenSuper2 жыл бұрын
I think you misunderstand what people mean when they say Charlie was the heart of the show. Jon was absolutely still important, and his one-liners are just as funny to me. But Alan didn't have the same loving bond with Walden like he did with Charlie, even though the writers tried to make us think they did. It's simply too boring of a character to play off, so they overexaggerated Alan's personality to the point where he became a total caricature of what he once was. Jon Cryer was definitely a trooper trying to do the best with the shoddy material he got, and if he left there's no way it would have lasted 4 more seasons. My point is that you needed both actors for everything to really click.

Born in the 90’s so for me The Big Bang Theory is the most relevant and the one I watch most (enjoy 🤣) stellar cast... it will be hard and a show I will def miss 😢. Chuck Lorre is a genius and sure many of his other sitcoms are cool !

Damn it, this is NOT fair. Fantastic writers, fantastic actors, I wish this was a dream about Big Bang closing up shop. We were blessed with such good writers and actors and now they are going bye bye. Wonder how many more episodes would have taken place if Jim Parsons decided to stay. Me sad. I wish it was a dream and Jim Parsons/Sheldon wakes up in his bed and yells...BAZINGA! Yaaay, more shows!! Need tissue. Greatest comedy ever!!!

@after_midnight95926 жыл бұрын
First three seasons were the true original BBT. 4th and onwards with all the relationship going on, it wasn't the same anymore. Sheldon's voice got higher and he was changed too much to fit into a relationship he didn't want or seek. Character regression.

I want to thank you for all of the best shows that I ever seen and those 3 shows are my healing and my medicine that gets me through the day. 2 1/2 men, Mom and Big Bang Theory. My lineup everyday all day.
