Such a joy to get back listening to the awesome drums of Gadd which is such vehicle for the tune.. It's all so obviously beautiful but seems to have a life of its own, constantly changing around its theme. Steve Gadd was and is amazing where his sensitivity and ability to be there and support everyone else shines through while his distinct, personal way of playing is so enjoyable!

if you don t know Gap you paid too much money to get in here well certainly not too much money for Chuck Mangione this is really a great tune the full version of The Eleventh Commandment

No he only played on like 3-5 tunes - I think the rest is with Chucks usual drummer back then - James Bradley Jr I believe. Sorry it took someone 2 years to respond! Haha

Can't find Tarantella on cd, was it ever issued on cd?

Tarantella was a double album that came out in 1981. I had it once upon a time, and wish I still did.

As far as I can tell it's one of the few titles from Chuck's body of work NOT on CD, although I'm hoping it will be one day. If you're into vinyl, he has some sealed copies available on his website for about $20 each, which is a good deal.
