I always thought the biggest loss for Philly was going to be Seth and this is why. He's so underrated since he's not Steph but his shooting efficiency is just as good ....and when he locks in on defense he's a menace. He just doesn't sell jerseys like his brother....but he's contributed huge on every team he's been on.

I mean granted he can only defend so many people pretty much limited to PGs only unless double teaming lol but idk....I would have fought to keep Seth tbh. One thing about him is that he is consistent and down the stretch I would always take consistency so I know what I'm going to get. even before this game the jury has always been out on harden. Especially when you're talking about trading within conference too. But 6 games in is still young. Harden will have to respond to an elite team soon though because the blueprint was set tonight.

Another choker in post season crunch time, Curry, managed. Well, as long as KD stayed healthy and won him the Finals. Harden didn't have that 2015 Cavs and 2017 and 2018 luxury, he only had the 2019 KD's health and his team was the 2015 Cavs in 2022.

Kobe and Bird are 2 of the top 5 clutchest players to ever touch a basketball and Kareem is for some people the greatest player ever. chuck might have exaggerated abt the 10yrs but i think the trade did give nets at least five year of championship level squad to me the trade impact nets more with the addition of seth drummond which they are able to fill in what was lacking the most for the team, three point and defense. for sixers they have to run the game with embiid anyway, having harden on the side can add another iso point but they also lose too much in the post when embiid is out and the ability to stretch the floor in seth

And this entire season in Philly he shot 40% from 3, which isn't as good as his career 3 pt percentage (43.8), but he's been shooting 45% in his 11 games with the Nets, so he's back up to his usual accuracy. But any way you look at it he's one of the best three point shooters in the league.

I'm just a regular guy, with a regular life, and by no means a superstar. With that being said, I was told at a very young age, actually it was instilled in me that quitter's never win, and winners never quit. Just because you don't like your situation, or you are disgruntled with a certain teammate, or teammates ( Kyrie) you shouldn't just give up. I love my job, but I'd be lying if I told you that I get along with everybody at my job. If I, or anybody who is not a professional athlete just quit every time something didn't go our way we would be broke and jobless. James Harden is the biggest quitter in sports, he will continue to chase a championship but he will never catch it. Yes, he's a good player, but I honestly don't feel like he's a great player. Great players make people great around them.

What Kenny said was 1,000% on the money. I was watching the game and got caught immediately surprised when KD said that. Because most players give generic answers or snap at the media. But when someone of his level says something like that it tells you it’s a serious problem. Even Embid gave up after a while staying mostly on the perimeter till he got subbed out. I get you have to make this trade If your Philly but Harden and Embid have no one to kick it out to that Seth is gone. On defense Harden is the best effort guy. Even if Simmons doesn’t play, this team got immensely better with Drummond, Seth around KD and Kyrie.

The Nets at full strength have the best team in the league. The only team that will even give them trouble is a full strength Golden State and I would still pick the Nets as the favorite in that one.

These dudes do not care about legacy. They barely care about winning championships. Half of them are already preparing for their post-nba career-as they should-but the money being earned-deservedly-in this generation has changed the motivation, in my opinion.

True. He averaged 26.8/ 7.5/ 12.0 on 59.2% shooting in his first 4 games and everyone thought he was amazing. Now, they just think that he's garbage based on his last 2 games. That's the unfortunate part about guys like LeBron, Russ, and Harden. Haters just wait for them to slip up so they can say that they're overrated.
