I was there in 1996 in the audience. This message changed my life forever. Pastored for 35 years full time and bivocational. Drove a truck for 22 years crossed this nation many many times. One thing I learned people everywhere need the lord. Omg how we all need him. Listened to pastor swindall over 30 years what an inspiring man. Thank you pastor swindall.

I was present for this message and the PK 96 clergy conference. the image of Swindoll at the podium beneath a large temple super structure above the stage, made this message from Isaiah 6 even more poignant. his confession of an personal story of brokenness was very moving.

This message is perfect for me right now. I've been so depressed ever since the Evangelical church chose Trump as our ambassador for the Church. The church in America just doesn't seem the same. Christians seem more Brash and arrogant and the "Sweetness" is all but gone. Chuck has been my mentor since 1980, when I first believed. I find myself searching for the answer...the way out. I've resigned from my church and I feel like a tiny life raft lost in a vast sea of sadness. I Love You Chuck.

David was a flawed man ,but God used him ,Trump is a reflection of the times ,the atmosphere in the media and social media is harsh ,and raw ,its sad ,but it looks like civility is a thing of the past ,atleast for now ,love one another, be well glory be to God and God only

@@DonaldGerbino I cannot compare David to Trump. David was a repented man who saw his flaws and repented. Psalm 51...Create in me a clean heart, Oh God...and renew a right spirit within me...Grant me a willing spirit to sustain me. When asked if he should repent, Trump said, "Why should I ask for forgiveness ? I've done nothing wrong. I don't make mistakes."...He holds the Bible upside down and says "One Corinthians" ....Apples and Oranges Donald.

Two years later and the sin of The Big Lie has matastefied into chaos and lawlessness and tribalism. I don't want a Theocracy, I want a Democratic Republic, like our founding fathers intended. I reject Maga and the Criminal Trump, and I reject "Project 2025". I don't want any of this Fascist Theocratic Hateful version of America. Evangelicals have lost their minds. They are in rebellion and Sin.

It just hit me, as Isaiah was crippled in his humanity after witnessing God in his glory, the angel flew over and showed him how his honest exposure to sin is not addressed with condemnation. There is no condemnation in God even BEFORE Jesus came to earth. Instead, God’s realm provided healing from the pain of exposed sin. Thank you Lord. Just discovered this video August 2023.

Chuck Swindon speaks with Authenticity, as Our Lord did, when He Declared Himself as “The Son of Man” , while Chuck differentiates himself with the Admission of his Failed Humanity and his Confession of Christ’s Successful Humanity (Heb. 5: 7-10).

Sad if one does not pray and seek God for a fresh word, from Gods word, to minister in prayer seek the word of " God for ourselves" to share.
It's not about "anointing" it's about Christlike character
@dalewier97352 жыл бұрын
Catherine you are correct. At 61, I realize that power is necessary to show the world an authentic "picture" of our great Lord and Savior and the price to walk in that gift of anointing is the time spent with the King and with the testing of that anointing. And it's worth it. And we are also commanded, for our own good, to be humble, and that begins with brokenness. Gifts with Character, Power of the Spirit with Fruit of the Spirit. One is not complete without the other.
