I can actually see it now, years later, and I appreciate it because I can see how she acts is the same way I act/acted in social situations. You don't REALLY WANT to talk, to converse, you're fine just sitting there and listening to the other person or being in silence, you're TERRIFIED of saying "the wrong thing", talking "too much" or "too little", etc. It's caused by an extreme self awareness. Kristen has it and sadly I didn't really recognize it until now.

Brittany G Pffffff Kristen is not socially awkward at all. The position she is in IS awkward , so it takes time to adjust. She does just fine in normal circumstances, when surrounded by normal people, just when fans or press jump on her because she is famous she withdraws, which is normal if you dont crave fame and every little thing you say gets twisted and analyzed. Imagine strangers always coming to you saying weird stuff. She got better in the last years, she is in charge of the situation now. But she never was awkward, stop with that bs.

I can't tell whether it's the anxiety or if she's an aspie, but the conversational style seems to be there. He seems like he's actually adhering to her style soemwhat, which is nice to see. Usually socialized neurotypicals just keep it going the way they know to do and expect others to speak like them. It really feels intense. The terrible things said. I feel so deeply that we relate to each other and that she's a real human being. It feels like I'm in the shadow zone. Honestly, stranger to stranger, half the time, somewhere in a soft place, it feels almost lonely to read those things about her. When you relate to someone. That's how someone like myself could take it a little personally. When you or I can't relate to most people to then see that person we do like get slandered beyond rational thinking. With a soft heart, yeah, it hurts a little, because it makes me wonder if people would treat me the same, as if they haven't already but still, you know, it's it's crazy.. I didn't talk to people, and people didn't talk to me. I was neutral about that. I had a couple of friends here and there, outcasts only, but that was it. I kept to myself, and I guess people didn't like that. Maybe people didn't like that I wasn't like others. But how could I be? I didn't like what I saw or heard most of the time and with that being said I showed no animosity towards anyone. I'll never understand and somewhere that will always hurt a little. I didn't dress weird, I didn't say anything weird. I have no idea. I think and I feel and I observe. That's all I know. It's also just like me to second guess this entire reply. :)

No. There's nothing wrong with being shy, as long as you don't take it to extreme. Being shy just means that your the quiet type, and not loud and talkative with every person you come into contact with. Being shy is not a disability, if anything, being loud and big opinionated is a disability. Most shy people are only shy in front of strangers... On the other hand, very loud people aren't afraid to say anything out in public, sometimes it seems like they have no respect. Everyone's different.
