EL MAL QUERER is based on a 13-14th century novel called "flamenca” which is about a toxic relationship. Cap.1 means “Chapter 1”, the augury: a sign of what will happen in the future; an omen. You should react to Rosalía's full album with english captions!

This was her first hit, in Spain, South America and many other countries two years ago. Maybe USA is one of the last places where she starts yo be known. Maybe because she sings in spanish, I think. And... yes, she's so beatiful, but there are too many people knocking to her door, I'm sorry.

Yeah you are right the USA is always a little late when it comes to artist who don’t speak English unless they’re introduced from one of our artists, but I’m glad I found her when I did she’s amazing & I know I don’t have a chance lol she’s wayyyyy to famous for me lol

Badly . It’s too difficult include for a Spanish like me. The Flamenco , no touch Heritage is too difficult with 12 different songs. Rosalía studied at Royal School of song in Barcelona . A good dancer and singer , her first job Malamente, is inspired by an old poem at s. XII , a toxic love.

You have to see more works by Rosalia to understand that it is very large, and diverse. Your reaction is very good. Congratulations. On his album "el mal querer" I will tell you that it is a conceptual disc based on a medieval novel entitled "flamenco". It tells the story of a woman who marries an abusive and jealous man who ends up locking her up, and who ends up escaping the relationship, reacting it stronger and more powerful. In this song "badly" Chapter 1 "augury" is counted as though everyone tells the woman that the man is bad and that they predict a bad relationship, she is seduced and forced by gold jewels, Power and social pressure. In the following songs and several times from the point of view of man, the evolution of the relationship is told. In the second song that does not come out the moon "chapter 2 wedding" The title refers to what the woman thinks during the ceremony; May the next day never come. On its cover, reference is made to a well-known painting by Mexican painter Frida Cahalo. In the third song, "I think of your look" Chapter 3 "Jealousy" is told how the man feels sickly jealousy as if they were shot in the chest. In the fourth, "Say my name" Chapter 4 "Ecstasy" tells the sexual relationship. The title refers to what the woman says to her lover while they have sex to be sure that the man is thinking about her and not another woman. In the video, reference is made to a well-known in Spain painting by Spanish painter Goya and his painting "La maja clothed" (Google search) that as you can understand there is another painting entitled "the naked pestle" and the rhythm of music , takes us to the rhythm of the sexual act.
