Chucky electrocutes Tiffany and uses her soul to create a doll sized bride just for him
From Bride of Chucky (1998): After being cut apart by the police, killer doll Chucky (Brad Dourif) is resurrected by Tiffany (Jennifer Tilly), an ex-girlfriend of the serial murderer whose soul is inside the toy. Following an argument, Chucky kills Tiffany and transfers her soul into a bride doll. To find the magical amulet that can restore them both to human form, Chucky and Tiffany arrange to be driven to New Jersey by Jesse (Nick Stabile) and Jade (Katherine Heigl), who are unaware that their cargo is alive.

Some fans of the original didn't like BOC, but I did. I saw it in the theaters upon first weekend release as I was in college. Having seen the previous three on first run VHS release. It's a departure from the first three, but after CP3 I go with the thought that the storyline had to go a different direction. I couldn't see aa CP4 where it's Chucky chasing Andy again a fourth time as that plot had run its course after CP3. So it was a nice and fun departure and take on the franchise to see new characters and story plot. By this movie we needed a break from the Chucky vs Andy battle. Tiffany idea was brilliant and added greatly to the franchise. The amulet in BOC was cool idea that added to the film's new plot (the idea was briefly used in Childs Play 1 in a scene with John using and giving the Damballa amulet to heal a sick child, but the scene was cut out before film's release). Seed of Chucky was good, but my least favorite. Childs Play 1 & 2 are my favorites followed by BOC than the Curse/Cult of Chucky movies which are awesome. I hated the 2019 remake.

I like all of the movies, even the remake though it’s my least favorite. Seed of Chucky was a strange direction for the series to go and though I do like it, I’m glad it ended there.
