Amazing track used in an amazing show. I wish this was available for streaming. Loads of 90's bands can now get the money and the recognition they deserve as fans like us revisit their music collection online. The Polaris Pete & Pete soundtrack album is available btw. ''Saturnine'' is really cool. Anyone remember another Kiwi band The Starlings? I've got the ''Try'' ep on vinyl.

I knew about this band before Pete & Pete was even a show. I found their "Flowers" 7'' at a local record shop back in '91. I knew nothing about the band but bought it 'cause I saw it was on Flying Nun Records which, during the 80's, had put out a shit-ton of amazing Alternative and Punk records and are responsible for some of my fave records/bands.When I started watching Pete & Pete and heard this song on several episodes, I was shocked and immediately became hooked on the show.

Maybe one of you can help me. I had a music sampler back in the early 90's that had a song on it I fell in love with. The sampler was stolen shortly after I got it and I've been searching for that one song ever since. I don't remember the name of the band or song, but I remember some of the lyrics. A buddy of mine swears it was on Pete & Pete so hopefully he was right and one of you will have my answer. The lyrics I remember are... "And, I wanna know who's responsible Who made the trees and the animals? Was Christ a god or an astronaut? You know I'd like to think not" Please help me...this has been tormenting me for far too long...
