Not an expert but lived in Gilgit and aircraft never flew in a loop before approach. They always landed straight in.

+Sensei Dekkers No charts for this particular airport. An excellent approach followed by landing from 12 side. I have actually been flying in and out of this airfield but most of our landings use to be from 30 side. and takeoffs always from Runway 12.

hello. nice graphics. can you please help me out as i have been try trying to make my fsx steam look real as possible but for some reason its not like this even when I set all of the sliders to maximum. I have got some addons and scenery but it doesnt look real like this. I have installed the same Gilgit Airport but not as detailed as your Gilgit scenery. Whenever Im near airport I see detail but when I go out of airport everything is flat like pancake. I have also switched off autogen because of lagging issues and I hardly see any realistic buildings. All I see is some fake looking houses and rest is all flat. When I fly in dubai or any other middle eastern country there suppose to be desert and sand but instead I see same green grass and terrain that looks like europe. I also have Jinnah Airport but outside the airport it looks like europe with too much greenery and lakes. Doesnt make sense. I have also tried tweaks but to be honest I cant tell the difference in performance or graphics. My specs are: i7 6700k OC @ 4.5ghz Gigabyte Z170-MX Viper 16gb 2333mhz Corsair H55i liquid cooling Evga GTX 1060 Corsair HX 750i PNY 960gb SSD (450gb space left. Everything is onn SSD) My addons are: FTX GLOBAL FTX Vector FTX OpenLC Europe MegaAirport Heathrow MSK Gilgit Airport REX4 soft clouds ENB series World of AI Default planes (livery only installed)
