I have many of those same plants in my little front yard here in the bay area. My Pachy is also still in bloom. I planted it 14 years ago as a wee 6" tall plant in a clay pot. This year, its first year to bloom at 6' tall. I also Laura told people on the internet for YEARS,that Trigona is redder- even black- in bright shade, not full sun...and they did not believe me.What can you do? Keep up the good work!

Back in the saddle again! The E. trigonas and the Pachypodium look particularly terrific. I’m glad that you didn’t take out all the Agave quadricolor offsets. I think they look really great flowing back along the big rocks and they won’t get too big for the space any time soon. I’m still not sold on Mangaves in general. They just seem too temperamental regarding sun, water, temperatures, etc..
