You are correct, that would be one way to optimize damage. There’s so many possibles to maximize damage with Chun, plus I love combos with Chun Li.

Ok I'm back for more advice...ok the stance HK into the air then 2x stomp and then 2x HP. How do you land that consistently. Can you do a video of just this just showing timing? I can only ever get the first HP unless it's in the corner. All this time and I can't land this when needed.

I definitely will and working on that too. I don’t always get it but I learned the timing now so I get it 90% of the time though. I know usual when it won’t work 😂. I will have that video out soon 🙏🏾

I had that combo down months ago but I think they messed with the timing in a patch or something. Now I have the same problem and sometimes just do air lightning legs instead. But one punch you're not missing much damage. Just frustration.

@@jrg305 no you miss the chance to cancel into super after the second hit. So now I need to do a whole new route if I want to use meter after it.

If you're talking about the safe jump setup then this vid has a pretty good breakdown of the timing(s). You have to mash it theres no specific timing for only have to mash it to have the second hit

Is it just me or did all the master level players buy Ed and flood platinum? I'm down 1000 points the past two days in spite of having better combos and landing stance cancels more often. They never miss a DI, always anti air, and have perfect combos in less than two weeks of him being out. Or it is another alt char you can tell because they just leave the "Let's do this" generic blue banner on their char. Taking a break from the game.

I feel you on that and I understand where you are coming. Taking breaks is good which I am or was doing at the moment to play final fantasy 7 rebirth. I got back no and I ran into a lot of Ed’s. At this stage everyone is going to lose to him including me until I learn him. I’m sure you will get those points back in no time.
