I hope you guys caught the message at the end, despite the content of the video, the purpose of what I do is to connect as many people as possible to a positive message. Without a doubt, this is a fantastic video. Here's a small suggestion: in the fight scenes between the two characters, incorporate core moves like Chun-Li's Lightning kick or Mai Shiranui's Kachousen to enrich the action. Chun-Li is Chinese, so adding some elements of Chinese martial arts, would be fitting, same to Mai Shiranui, . Some of the fighting postures between the two women in certain scenes, such as the chase in the forest their stances or fighting actions, seem a bit mismatched in the video. But, hope to see more videos from you! Thank you for your hardwork to make such nice quality videos.

Okay, this one feels like an actual short movie made by a studio.. great art from the beginning to the end. This one had visually appealing art, soothing music, fluid animations, good impact sounds, and symbolism with the flower, sunrise, and all that. Definitely felt like this fight had a plot to it... I think this is your best work so far because plot, symbolism, art, music seem to have gotten even better..

Yeah, the story is also told through their combat, their actions, what moves are landing, I think the tone gradually changes, from whimsical to intense as day turns to night. You 100% absolutely out-did yourself! Fantastic work! It had hard hits, nice scenery, comedy, grace, just the right amount of sexy, and a great balance of back-and-forth action with nothing one-sided. These characters have been around for 30+ years and you did them a great justice ^_^ If there was any critique here I would give, personally for me, I would've liked to have seen more battle damage, bloody lip/nose and damage to their legs, spit sweat or water (from that small pond) flying off them when hits contacted, and more knock downs like when they connected their string of punches/kicks etc. Wonderful job all around! Looking forward to your next project!!

It's as I expected- your best work yet!!!! Super hot and the one I was rooting for actually won for once (well it would be more accurate to say I wanted Mai to _lose_ rather than Chun li to _win_ ). The fight was incredible, it was sexy, thrilling and possibly the best low blow yet(though Bat to the Cat might give it some competition). the costumes were amazing - particularly the scene where Chun Li falls into the water, the texture of her outfit looks great. This felt like a professional short movie rather than an animated project, the fighting felt choreographed rather than rendered, Mai and Chun Li felt like they were really there and they looked absolutely beautiful! As far as who would win, I had no idea, I couldn't even guess but then I realised both were fighting so well that I would be satisfied with either, so props to Chun Li for the win. The shots and angles again range from breathtakingly spectacular to raunchy and sensual like the slow motion double frontflip in front of the setting sun to the intimate headscissors move on the ground, I particularly enjoyed the playful banter between them and the shot of Mai's bare legs thrashing around in her defeat, and I appreciate that Chun Li didn't kill her. I think you really outdid yourself on this one man, I looked forward to it and it did not disappoint, needless to say I'm very excited for your next one! 😊

If I needed a textbook example of a perfect comment, it would look like this. I love when you write dude, you and I, always see things 1 to 1. I'm glad my vision translates so well. This was just a story, begging to be told, and to be honest, going into this, I didn't know anything about Chun Li or Mai, and after 2 months of working on it, that hasn't changed. Awesome, it was an epic fight, many compliments! 👏😊 The only thing I wish was included would've been some leg sweeps (Like the one Chun Li does at 0:58 for example) done by Mai Shiranui to Chun Li since she is the ninja between the two so it would've made more sense for her to do them (Or, at least, to do them more than Chun li) but, aside from that, the video was very enjoyable so nice work! 👌 My favorite part was Chun Li grabbing Mai's ninja shirt at 1:17 since I enjoy grabs of that kind a lot, especially when they're done by a female character to another one like in this case so thanks a lot for including it! 😁 Also, since they're very rare, do you think there's any chance you could try including them in your future fights from time to time if possible, please? So much I have to say about this. First of all, this is the most flawless blender animation I’ve ever seen. I felt like I was watching the story mode for a video game several times, like the new MK1 game. Second, the context of the fight was refreshing. Instead of trying to kill each other, it’s Chun Li testing Mai’s skill and more of them having a spar to determine Mai’s mettle. Third the music. I felt like I was actually watching movie level storytelling with a score to go with it. This fight was most definitely worth the wait and I’m glad you made this fight as a tribute to your inspiration to start animating. This is no doubt your best work yet and I was completely blown away. Well done man, well done. This was an absolute MASTERPIECE.

I can't express how much I love you. Thank you so much for such an incredible comment, I know people like you understand the work behind the 14,484 frames in this project. In the time it takes to make it, I have a lot of time to reflect and get things right. I didn't want this project to be 8 minutes long, but I kept following my heart and doing what I felt was right for these legendary characters. I think we arrived at an incredible point and I hope this project makes many people happy. I'm glad you actually read the message at the end. It's true, in the end, it's a tribute to my love for many things. Dragon Ball Z, Avatar, Anime, and of course women in action! I like the twist you gave in Widowmaker by making it where she was a martial artist when she isn’t actually one in the Overwatch franchise. It just goes to show that this was not a fight to hurt, but rather an intensive training session. And the bit with Mai about to fall into the fish pond and Chun Li shoving her in after catching her was a beautiful touch. It goes to show that no matter what, never let your guard down during a fight

@@starwarsguy9803 Yeah honestly, the mutual respect between them, was my way of telling the audience to treat each other the same way. Originally, Chun Li was going to crouch down and Touch Mai's face and say to her "I think you could have beaten me." But I thought it was more fitting for her to silently bow, as Mai did to her in the beginning of the animation. As the great George Lucas once said, "It's like Poetry, it rhymes!"

Main criticism I have is that their fighting stances/styles weren't really canonical. Chun was fighting more like Ken in this short film than Chun, she's ideally scarcely moving in her idle pose. There was also not a single spinning bird kick 😤😤 But all that aside, this popped off. Projects like these are hard, but you killed it with the choreography and the funny non-fighting moments - definitely loved those. Also booba

What a time to publish this cinematic fighting masterpiece! In the meantime Capcom just announced SNK characters Terry and Mai in Street Fighter 6! That means we are now officially getting to play Chun-Li vs Mai on a current gen AAA fighting game! Just a few days after this has been published coincidentally! This is a sign. The Universe is bringing 'em together guys! (I am sorry too many exclamations😅)

Yeah Honestly, I could never have predicted this. It was a total coincidence! I didn't even realize it happened till I saw the views and comments coming in much more frequently. It's just a matter of fate that I had the idea and was able to animate it in time.
