Sincerely Jihoon's unconditional love for her dragged me into this beautiful drama, but I was hoping that the king and his ever-loved one were together and instead she's in love with MH, so I stopped this drama, it hurts me to see the king unrequited and then it is so handsome 😣

Aww man, you should've finish it cuz it was so good. No matter how many times i watched it, i still laughs and cry as if it was my first time. I understand how you felt, i was like that too at first but when i saw gaetong's struggles and hardships, the only one who always been there for her was Ma Hoon. She was hoping for Soo to be there for her but he was never there. Its only natural that Gaetong love Ma Hoon instead because she love Soo just as family and no more and she realized that after she realized her feelings for Ma Hoon. Ma Hoon didn't meant to love his client, Gaetong didn't meant to love the matchmaker and Soo didn't meant to leave Gaetong yet everything fall into piece, thats how fate works. Everyone is happy in the end. Soo is a great and wise king, Gaetong and Ma Hoon continuously helping people to find their love just like them. Its a beautiful story 🤗

So basically the first girl told on her that she brought a hired eunuch to help her with the selection but that was a serious offence. The eunuch which was her friend quickly went to the king and tell him to save Gae Ttong and he came in the right moment. Saying he hired the eunuch because Lady Yun (the lead lady) was unfamiliar with the city. And that was the first time she found out that her ex fiancee is a king and not an aristocrat
