Maybe, ChungHa and her new agency wants to try something new, because to be completely honest, this song is CHUNGHA vibes, the vibes that we got used to her, and maybe, they want to try another vibe, another perspective of her. Agree, but unfortunately, this song is much more align with Stay Tonight, which built for pre-release single, a.k.a attention grabber, which important in marketing world... and it did works so flawlessly as the attention grabber for main title track teaser, Eenie Minnie. Also, since the success of Stay Tonight (3 years ago! jezzz), her team definitely want to use a song that had similar energy for signaling her comeback. Now, I think the song definitely will live as main choices in club & remixes, as Ennie Minnie not as dance track like this one. And expect many tiktoker will use this song as catwalk song, as the beat is really inviting to stomp the runway.

But I expected this song will had thousand remixes in future. and I think you should not laugh for this b-side actually, as this song had same fire as Eeenie Meenie. But again, we compared 2 different style song, so they cannot be compared to each other. Like myself, prefer I'm Ready, but I also see why Eeenie Meenie more befitting as title track. Chungha stated that she wanted to try making different types of music that she did not have the freedom to do in her previous company. She specifically even mentioned she wanted to do RnB music. She knows what her fans like (especially back when she was known as the summer hits girl and even then she pushed to stop making summer songs) but we should also give her the freedom to do different things if she wants, especially since she hardcore burnt out and was going to leave the idol industry previously. In a episode of Kim Jongkook's workout show, she even mentioned how because of the style of dance she chose to dance since she was young, she actually didn't work out and develop her muscles appropriately (a lot of idols get this but especially Chungha with waacking), she is experiencing a lot of pain in her back and shoulders. Compare to a lot of the other female idols pointing to their lower back and knees hurting due to pelvic tilt. She even noted that the introduction in I'm Ready where she is hanging upside down put a lot of stress on her back and shoulders. Like I'd honestly completely understand her if she doesn't do any follow-up promotions for I'm Ready because it doesn't seem at this time she can physically promote it every week for multiple music shows. She got some workout tips from Kim Jongkook, so I hope she is able to incorporate working out to protect her joints and body so she can promote to the fullest especially with waacking choreo, but I'd much prefer her preserve her body's health. Kim Jongkook is actively trying to reach out to idols of all genders to encourage them to go to the gym and actually work out, with weights, just to protect their back and knees because dancing destroys idol's knees if they don't protect them. I love Chungha and her music and performance, but I want her to do it in as healthy of a manner as possible so she can enjoy it to its fullest with this 2nd chance she, herself, and Jay Park provided her.
