The whole sence reminds me the puppy love, when you crush knows you have feeling for him/her, suddenly you just don't know how to react anymore.

Faye Wong completely nailed the dorky girl thing. 1:24 was the her best moment in the movie... besides the moment when she was "caught red handed" at 663's apartment.

The whole theme of the movie is finding kindness in random people, and how it can change someones life. For cleaning his apartment a little bit, slipping pills in his drinking water to help him sleep, giving him a better tasting brand of sardines, he begins cheering up. He begins to stand on his feet. Little by little he gains confidence. Enough for him to be able to face his ex and tell her to get her remaining stuff out of his place. It also tells us that love is something that is better meant than said.

Chinese guys! Plz don’t get offended by what I am abt to say. (If u’d see my hair u’d go “What?!” Lol) Just an observation… It must be smth. abt the way Chinese hairdressers execute the work, the techniques… u just look and go straightaway “Ah! He/She’s Chinese!” It doesn’t look well styled or trimmed, it doesn’t look boyish in a cool way (it seems that an original concept u bear in mind is a concept of a ‘tomboy’), it looks chopped with garden shearers, leaving hair looking nothing but roughly coarse. And I think it’s quite a shame that hairstyles done that way don’t compliment people bearing gorgeous, attractive facial features.

Chinese guys generally have spiky hair. When long, it would look like you got electrocuted, so most of us keep it short with crew/buzz cuts. Not the most fashionable, but also not too many Chinese guys want to spend big bucks on hairdressing. This is my own experience at least. This applies still somewhat, though slightly less for Chinese people in western countries where they’d probably have absorbed some of the ‘western’ culture for what makes a person good-looking. But as a Chinese guy from Asia, we just on average don’t care as much how our hair looks, especially since we can’t really see it ourselves. It’s generally also true for Chinese girls and makeup. Many Chinese girls don’t bother with makeup until working age (now this is highly untrue in rich cities, where Chinese girls are the most heavy make-up wearers on Earth probably), but I’m more referring to the average middle-class-and-below ethnic Chinese, any of which are outside of China in other parts of asia

That’s how all Chinese hair looks like when cut short. It is just the nature of Chinese hair.
