Yep! Last year I was lucky. This year not so much! But It's all good. They gotta eat too! We setup some cameras in the private garden to get a closer look! You also see some exclusive behind the scenes footage of Chunk Land, the private garden and the greenhouse! So much happening at Chunk Land! We are still on high alert for the babies!! Cameras are rolling 24x7! As far as the rest of the video, well it's pretty hilarious! All the critters are having the time of their life. Well except maybe Pesty who broke the swing! Do not worry. He is safe and did not get hurt! You'll see him chase his girl friend shortly after! We cannot wait to hear your feedback! Those dumb groundhogs eating their garden. Those furry large rats were naughty, very naughty. Well that is going to add to the grocery bill. When are the naughty babies going to come out to to destroy more of your garden? That tail is just moving so fast. My groundhogs would have ate all that white clover. The Chunks are getting a bit adventurous. So much fun to fight with groundhogs, and l am sure it will be interesting to watch. I suggest you clear off maybe a foot down and lay in chain link. Attach all the way around. Then add the dirt back in on top. This will keep them from being able to dig in. It is a similar concept to building a free range chicken area, except you place the chain link on the top instead. The roots and plants can easily root through the chain link and you can still till it as it would be a foot down.

Well Jeff, as they say, there's no use crying over spilt veggies, lol 😂😂 Sorry about the garden, but it is kind of funny .. Chunks being Chunks and all. Makes you kind of wonder if they prefer the early stage of growth perhaps because it is more nutrient dense, they no doubt have their reasons for what they prefer. Some great video in this one, loved the close ups in particular 🥰🥰🥰🥰
@LostHorizon523 жыл бұрын
@Harry64278 Certain parts of the plant are more nutrient dense (nutrients per unit volume) in the early stages of growth, like seeds for example .. Also, sometimes animals prefer young, tender shoots over the tougher, more mature plant. With all the food Jeff provides them everyday, it only goes to figure that if they are particularly going after these younger growing plants, there must be something they prefer in them, but to be sure we would have to ask Mr. & Mrs. Chunk, LOL

Perhaps there are more babies than last year, and she needs the extra calcium, from all of that 🥦? If you still have issues, check out Save a Fox’s solution to keeping the foxes inside the fences. It should work for you, in reverse. She lines the bottom of the fence with chicken wire, largely buried under soil, folded at a 90 degree angle with grass grown on top. That way, when they try to dig under, they get nowhere. Good luck!
