Very cool. I wish you'd do a start to finish video. I also wish youd tell us more info about how to get the loom.

Good morning! I will put a link to a video that shows how to start your blanket. Once you get started, it is just repetition until you get to your desired blanket length. Then watch the "casting off" video to finish. We also have a video on how to fuse 2 pieces of yarn together when you want to change colors. As far as buying the loom, there is a link in the description of the video for our Etsy page where we sell the looms. Thank you for watching! kzbin.info/www/bejne/lXq2dJ15e9VqeM0

@KJWoodworking-b1g Oh, okay you sell the looms.👏👏 Sorry. Your video popped up in my recommend feed, so I watched it. I said that's really cool. I could probably do that too, if I had a cool loom. 😁😂🤣

Great Videos! New to this craft tried to do it by hand but I had so much trouble. I ordered a loom and I can already see so much better. I have a question, when you cast off, are you twisting the loop you pull off the peg, then hold to the other? I could not see it too well. Thanks

Hi thanks for watching! I do not twist them, not saying that you can't, but my method is to not twist it.

I love the idea of a loom to help me keep things straight. I've watched both of your videos, but the middle part seems to be missing. Does the blanket jsut sort of naturally, IDK how to put it, "grow" while you are looping back and forth? Because in the first video you only do 2 rows, so we cant see what is happening after that. Sorry if this is a dumb question! I have yur loom favorited on Etsy, waiting for reply before I buy. TYSM

Oh and follow up, can you do like other stitches on this loom? Herringbone and such? (Can you tell I am SUPER NEW lol)

How do you cast off on the other side ?
@KJWoodworking-b1g5 күн бұрын
The process is the same, it's just reversed. Hopefully that makes sense.

I thought the blanket is worked towards you it looks like your blanket is going away from you.

This is totally technique. I prefer to work the blanket away from me so if I am sitting or standing it doesn't end up in my lap :)
