Apart from some crazy, cultish crew members, everyone HATES having to go on register and put on that fake, engaging act... next time you're at the checkout hating the person ringing you up, take comfort in the knowledge that we hate you too. But not as much as we hate ourselves for the grinning drivel we're forced to spew. lol.

It's been about 5 years since i found my Trader Joe's support group. The PTSD has calmed down. But i still struggled with anxiety. One week ago, they were playing "Happy" by Pharrell Williams, the employee asked me if i was making guacamole, and--they found out it was my birthday. I was left in shambles until I realized that some people from the New D in my part of town would be at my house in about 18 hours and 34.56 minutes, and my roast wasn't in the oven. Well, I needed my roast to be tender and cooked to perfection, so i used my legs and karate chopped those Trader Joe's employees. I ended up with an ankle bracelet but my roast was cooked to tender perfection. I mean, it was more tender than a baby's foot on a warm summer day in Cape Cod
