@@cmonsta_imback2051 Connect PS4 Controller to blue tooth (Automatically your controller will switch off) Its a good thing though because it shows that ' Input Mapper' has taken over the controller Then open input mapper 1.Create a profile INPUT device must be an XBOX Controller And OUTPUT device should be PS4 controller because Window PCs find it easier to recognize Xbox . Select the profile you created ,It should have a PS4 controller logo next to it

Steam has its own drivers so if you try to use steam's drivers and DS4 at the same time it can create some conflicts. At this stage I'd recommend steams drivers. They seem to work a bit better

It should just launch like a regular application once installed. Unless you're running the installer instead of just like the installed program. Do know this hasn't been updated in a good while so you might have to look at a different program like DS4 Windows if it keeps misbehaving

Your controller is fine. You may just need to factory reset it. To do this just press a pin or a paperclip into the little hole on the back under hte light bar. Press and hold on the tiny button in there for a count of 12 and it should reset. Then you can either try to use it with your computer again, or pair it with your console. Up to you.

You should mention that your computer should be able to have bluetooth

Its not really a requirement as you can just plug your controller in with a cable. But its nice to have so you arent pulling a cable half way across a room in some cases.
