Of course, Ghazal language is tough and more rich ( lyrically )compared to Qawwali that's why you felt like that because most Ghazals are written by actual famous Shayars from Urdu literature, not singers themselves. For example, this Ghazal is written by famous Indian Urdu Shayar Hasrat Mohani. These Ghazals are written by so many good poets who were at their peak in Urdu literature like Mirza Ghalib, Akbar Alhabadi, etc.
