A topic many churches do a very poor job of teaching and applying in the church community life of those who belong to the local body of Christ. Church discipline has received a bad rap over the decades, but it is a necessity in order to keep people focused on living a life honouring Jesus Christ, holiness, and submission to the His lordship and mutual submission to those who belong to the same Christian community.
