After converting my 1994 F350 IDI Turbo Crew cab dually.. from 2wd auto to ZF6, and 4wd, and 09 F450 10 lug axles.. I completely feel your pain watching them knock it out in a day. What you are experiencing is what we (the watchers on the internet) experience watching you guys, and the rest of the youtube "garage" shows.. do a build in a couple episodes. Really makes you question things.. when in reality.. MOST shops take a long time.. but edit down. A shop like that one? Badass pros. Worth every dime.

Much like this shop, my friend owned a Mustang specialty shop. He told me his guys already had the right size tools in their hand before even walking to the car. They would do a job at 1/3 the rated book time. You get a lot of efficiency from specialization and repetition.

This is nuts. I am converting an RV on a E350 chassis into a tiny home/overlander and I've been thinking about a manual/4WD conversion for a while. This video is literally for me. Fun fact, my RV has a triton V10 and duallies with the smallest length they offered. When I had it all stripped out, I got it up to 90MPH. 1200 watts of solar are about to go up, so its speedy days are over.

I love that they use all tried and true mechanical linkages. There is no motor in the way to shift the transfer case. Also OX lockers are the only way to go. If the cables do fail. You can bypass them with like a little plug. All 4 wheels will always spin if you want. Great build design!

Got a real great team there, and when Scotto uses the term "pit crew", building something like this.... wouldn't it be social media gold to build a 4wd van, with these guys, and go full BAJA UPDATE? Give the 9-year trooper one hell of a good time, and we can get Zac back yelling BAJA UPDATE
