Bishop Sheard preached a powerful message on the story of the prodigal son. Bishop, then Supt., J. Drew Sheard sharing at the COGIC AIM Convention back in 1999. The-late GREAT Presiding Bishop Chandler D. Owens appointed Sheard as the international president of the youth department and he served from 1996 to 2001. Bishop G.E. Patterson appointed him as chairman of AIM in 2004 and served in that position until 2012. It's amazing to see his journey from then to the presiding Bishop seat now!
