More Holiness Give Me Prayerfully 1. More holiness give me, More strivings within, More patience in suff’ring, More sorrow for sin, More faith in my Savior, More sense of his care, More joy in his service, More purpose in prayer. 2. More gratitude give me, More trust in the Lord, More pride in his glory, More hope in his word, More tears for his sorrows, More pain at his grief, More meekness in trial, More praise for relief. 3. More purity give me, More strength to o’ercome, More freedom from earth-stains, More longing for home. More fit for the kingdom, More used would I be, More blessed and holy- More, Savior, like thee.

We ask for these things through song and prayer not realizing that the pathway to these characteristics lie in our heart letting go of worldly things and letting the Savior heal us. It’s easy to ask for it but a lot more difficult to let go and let the healing power of Jesus Christ into our lives.

I just left the Ohio Columbus Temple. I had this song playing in my head :) It was am amazing experience as I went through yet again. The Lord spoke to me and I am filled with so much peace and comfort. just before hand I was unsettled and angry, but the Lord calmed my troubles and spoke peace to my mind and heart. I'm sitting outside of it still. I don't want to leave. haha. I know this church is true and that temples are truely Gods house :)

You can't listen to this without feeling spine tingling chills from head to toe. Love the 8th notes (left hand) on triplets (right hand) at 3:50. What a brilliant compositional way to climax the piece.

I could imagine myself skating on ice, swimming through water or running to this. None of which l can do anymore. Rhythm played important part in my training, (self taught.)

Haven’t been to the church for over 5 years. This mealts my heart. My strongest battle is with the high standards the church requires. I’m not capable of follow all of them. It’s so sad. I’ve always felt out of place.

Hi Fernanda- thanks for your comment. You are missed! We're sorry you felt out of place. You belong, and you are definitely needed. No one at Church is perfect- we all fall short, but there are blessings of peace and happiness from trying to follow the Savior. You are always welcome, and we hope you'll join us this Sunday! Your Heavenly Father loves you and is always there.

Fernanda, we all struggle and are imperfect. Only One Perfect Being ever walked the earth, and the rest of us depend on Him to make it back, even Jesus Christ. I hope you return to Church soon. The Lord will welcome you with open arms!!! Heavenly Father always loves you (and always will). Don't be too hard on yourself...don't give up on yourself...the Lord never gives up on you...come back to Church, repent and have faith in His grace, and keep trying (with the rest of us)! *You belong and are needed.*

Elder Bednar once taught that “the church is not a museum of perfect people rather than a hospital for sinners.” Come as you are and we will love you for it. Your perspective, your humility your personality is not only wanted but needed. Conversion is a gradual step by step process that begins with desire. Heavenly Father just wants you home and He will help you get there. We love you! It’s not where you’re at rather where your going that matters! So go to Him! He will heal and bless you!!!

I was wondering if someone could help me find another rendition of this song. Its a female singing and it has a very jazzy feel to it (Norah Jones's type). I remember playing it in the car going from appointment to appointment but i can't find it! Thanks in advance!
