A friend of mine I’ve known since grade school died of a heroin overdose last year and the sad thing part about it is his mom found him dead. Drugs are evil.

Story about me: I was in 7th grade when our health class got these booklets set and documentary from this same foundation. I remember this segment quite well. All this came together and engaged me into wanting to read and watch more of this. I used as much time as I could in class to read the other booklets, as well as the one we would be going through in class. I would go on the website at home, and I could download digital copies of the booklets and posters for free, so I did and looked more into them, and I'd watch the segments like this one here on KZbin. I just learned more and more, educating myself. I wrote this foundation a letter a while later to thank them for shedding more reality on this in an engaging way, not just do "Just Say No" stuff like many others have done over the years. Not long after that, I came home from school to a package of my own actual booklets and dvd of the documentary. My parents and teachers were very proud of me for reading and watching all about these things on my own, actually going out of my way to educate myself. I'm very proud too.

That is good to educate yourself because most addicts feel misunderstood. So it's good to be open to always learn.

Beleve it or not these addicts have actually had it easy realy. It can get worse than that the guy with the scars is lucky to have his arms. I know a guy who has lost a leg, he lives on the streets but now just shoots up in his groin vein in the other leg.

I've done a lot of things but thank God I've never shot heroin. I've seen people addicted to heroin and it's the worst drug that exists. Its not even like they're getting high. They have to do it just to function like normal. This happened to my best friend who was like my brother. Totally acting strange, scratching, etc. After bugging me for an entire day to loan him some money I finally gave him 30 bucks. He disappeared & the next day when he came back, he was the same guy I knew and loved. Unfortunately a couple years later they found him dead in a hotel room of an overdose. The rule with drugs is... if you never tried it before, don't do the first hit. Trust me this is coming from someone who knows. The problem with any drug is that is a lot stronger than alcohol and once you get a taste, you won't go back to just using alcohol.

Every time people say they used to draw it’s usually because someone introduced them to it and or they have an underlying health issue is her idea of gateway drugs is BS and frankly I’m not a fan of this whole cold turkey quit thing because it doesn’t work

It can happen accidentally. Maybe you’re prescribed the pills after a medical procedure, and you end up really liking the feeling and chasing it. Other than that, boredom, peer pressure... any kind of emptiness in your life will present itself and invite drugs in the second you encounter them.

Ok so why would they cut it wit arsenic 'wat a load of rubbish, like why would the dealers want to kill there clients, u shoot up just a lil bit of arsenic n your a goner 'it was cut like many drugs often wit Vitamin B n yes among other things but Arsenic i don't think so unless u want to give someone a hot-shot 'period.
