Actually, if I could go back and do it again, I would NOT have any kids. Not bc I don't love them but bc I don't want them to suffer in this lifetime. Take a look around you. There are danger everywhere. You can't always be by your kids side 24/7. Your only mistake was that you married his uncle. I would have NOTHING to do with his family once I'm out.

Sister, I feel your pain. I know what your ex husband go through. My wife and I struggled with infertility for 25 years. I was pressured to yuav niam yau for 15 years. My wife cried herself to sleep for 25 years because she couldn’t bear children. But divorced and yuav niam yau was never an option for us. Finally after 25 years of trying we’re able to find a Hmong lady that was able to help us. We didn’t start having children until our early 40s. Seems like your still a young woman, don’t give up. Find someone who truly loves you for who you are.

The older generation need to be more understanding. It’s not that easy to have kids for some people. Infertility is taboo in the Hmong community but people need to be more understanding and stop questioning people with no kids. You don’t know their story or their struggle. You don’t need your ex husband if he can’t even stand up for you and him.

People that have never suffered infertility will never understand the pain us women have to go through and the verbal abuse we get from relatives and mils. A part of this story would have been me but we finally got pregnant after so many years of trying. Praying for better days ahead of you sister.

This is a hard decision, tbh if you never went through infertility u will never understand, once in my life I was willing to walk out because I didn't want to be selfish with his family wanting children from us and I couldn't at that time. So thankful that we finally got pregnant after so many years of trying. There's nothing in this world a woman with infertility wants more than a child.

Glad things work out for you guys, true I will never understand but I have taken care of widow in same shoe and she never wanted to leave but was forced out by the second wife, I'm more disappointed at the men's that allow women to be hurt by others just because she can't do as others can. It's sad to see women don't love women and men that allow others to hurt what they love but can't protect. All hmoob women are precious but most hmoob men don't see and understand, it's very sad.

Don't feel too sorry 4 not having any kids. Destiny is what it is. Look at the bright side, let say if you were to have kids with your 1st husband , if it was meant you both to leave each other it will happen in a different format. So, you both were to just come to earth built love foundation only. 2nd, Look around u, those who has lots of kids like us and at the end the hubby can't get your attention and the kids jealous of your attention. I don't know how this sister is thinking but whatever, you need to rethink. You direct your life. Everything doesn't end because you can't have children. You let your mother in-law control your life so you suffered. You need to stand up and think straight. You are your own doom. I don't feel sorry for you because it's your fault you let others walk all over you and you let yourself sit in a situation that you can control. You have a job, you can feed yourself and not rely on nobody. A woman can be successful without a man or child. Sometimes it's a blessing not to have children too.
