It's wild how myths and narratives around powerful figures, like Trump, can be strategically manipulated, as the podcast suggests. The idea that Trump’s silence following an assassination attempt plays into maintaining his larger-than-life persona is a powerful one. It highlights how public figures can leverage perception just as much as reality. But what strikes me more is how myths-whether surrounding a political leader or the broader concept of security-can shape public discourse and policy. They aren’t just stories; they actively influence decisions, sometimes in ways that are beyond our immediate control. Myths and narratives are more dangerous than they seem.
