Black Ops 3 had the best protagonist customization of all CoD games with voice acting and everything. I chose female Bell with a ex-KGB background. In my mind, I was thinking of a mix between Black Widow and the Portnova multiplayer character. The problem is the Vietnam section, because that works for male Bell with a CIA background. Wish they would have a few different background missions for your choices (or tweaked what was there), but hey, I think CoD is slowly getting there. (The Soviet dress you get for a disguise in the KGB headquarters has the cutest shoes. I have this amusing image in my head of female Bell in that outfit while shooting her way through the bunker.)

Given the budget CoD has, I think it feels like a missed opportunity. The campaign should have been maybe three hours longer. Aside from the backgrounds affecting the penultimate mission (along with if you chose male or female), I think it would have been cool to have more missions that put you alone with one of the team to "bond" or develop a relationship. Like the Woods and Bell mission (would have been funny if you were given a dialogue option later relating to the mannequin incident, especially in front of Mason). Mason, Bell, Woods. Lazar and Bell. So forth and so forth. Of course, the thirst is strong around Park, or so I've noticed~ Ha. Either way, it would have made the endings have more significance in terms of where Bell's ultimate loyalty lied... laid? Yeah.

I'm hoping the next Black Ops, (if there is one) plays off the choices you make, and hopefully makes it so you do somehow survive the end. Maybe Park, Woods or Mason finds you on the edge of the cliff and Adler at the bottom of it, and save you.

Wait. So when you pick to be MI6, adler states that bell has picked up a bit of parks accent. What if this is the Canon choice? Stone in the multi-player shares the same skin as male bell and speaks in an accent similar to parks hence the accent. Not to mention that he's on the opposing side of NATO, it would fit quite well. However, it'd be quite confusing since supposedly the good ending is Canon and adler shoots bell or bell shoots adler
