It is so typical of Filipinos to be quite obsessed with white/fair complexion, because of Spanish influence. But in North America brown skin is a gem, because they spent an arm and a leg to be tan. I appreciate my brown skin now than I was in the Philippines growing up. 😄Proud kayumanggi. You guys are awesome for creating this idea. Kudos!

Yes its true!Being Pinay we want to have a white skin coz the others think having white skin is beautiful, but its wrong we should love our skin color whatever it is 'coz God created You and You/We are beautiful, and I much appreciate when I work here abroad coz they like being morena and sometimes dark color, they are morena already but they like much dark skin color and most womens bought tanning crm, lotion or tanning oil to achieve the more dark color that they want. So no need to be insecure coz we are perfectly made by God.😊God bless!🙏

Is it just me or did anyone else hear Ciara saying "smog test"? Don't get me wrong. Anyway, Having lived in the US for 14 years, people would come up to me and start speaking in Spanish. I prolly looked like Mexican or Guatemalan or Ecuadorian girl. Quien sabe (Who knows). With my brown skin is the take away. But I do like being brown skinned girl "Morenita" in Spanish which means dark skin.
