Hello Cia So good to see you always. We are early spring here in Minnesota USA. Tulips are near ready to bloom. I have buds on the crab apple trees. I spent earth day freshening houseplants and cleaning flower beds a bit. It was a bitter wind but the sun was warming me on the south side of my house. I picked up a wip from last summer, Tankar tee by Annijuutiknits. So close to finishing! I will cast on Lunae shawl which has been on my list to make for a year. My friend wants to knit one so we will take a road trip to a yarn shop for her yarn. I would like to start before she does to familiarize myself with the pattern. My young friend will come by today her 4 year old saw a raspberry color yarn of mine and told me it was her favorite color. I started a sweater but we need to try it on. She is a tall but petite child.

I absolutely love your Anker and Islander sweaters, they are so good. I would love to spin well enough to make my own sweaters, but I'm still learning and still not getting a balanced yarn. I am amazed at how you spin yours on the spindle.

The Islender sweaters are lovely. The yarn for your Granddaughter would look nice in the Islender with a contrast colour. A cubby-house, we made out of blankets and sheets as children. Do you use a yarn gauge when spinning? Now that I have had to return to working. No time for my spinning wheel. I dont have the patience to use a drop spindle.

I think your confetti sweater looks more like confetti Icelander and the one you are wearing is beautiful .why don’t you ply your unicorn fibre with some commercial lace or fine yarn will give you more yarn.one thing I have not mastered is supported spinning you make it look so east ,will have to try again
