We have a different view Alex, we use grease so the rubber hammer just makes it very efficient and quick to install the seat post. We're afraid you are quoting Sheldon Brown out of context: when he suggests not to use a hammer, he refers to seat posts getting stuck, which never happens when you use grease. On your other comment on the missing clamp: if you are smart enough, it will not fall down. Please try to be nicer, more polite and constructive in your comments, thanks!

Buongiorno, vorrei a avere una informazione. Vorrei comprare una fixed bike o single speed ma nn so che taglia di bici scegliere. Io sono alto 1.74 e il cavallo di 79cm. Vorrei tenere il sellino abbastanza alzato ( anche perchè esteticamente è piu carino) e vorrei stare raccolto sulla bici. Che taglia mi consigliate? una 54 è troppo grande? Vi ringrazio molto.
