FIGGEN es un proyecto con una duración de tres años impulsado por el programa PRIMA (Partnership for Research and Innovation in the Mediterranean Area) financiado por la Unión Europea. Su principal objetivo es potenciar la higuera como uno de los cultivos más adaptados y sostenibles en la cuenca mediterránea en un contexto de cambio climático global.
