I had the opportunity to meet Dinesh Phadnis (Fredricks) back in 2017 he had a huge photo of the OG CID team on his house's wall, they are all really genuine people and they are pretty grounded even after the monumental success and recognition that they have received over the past few decades. I was wearing a T-Shirt that got wet because of rains and I genuinely wanted to take a picture with him, he gave me one of his own shirt, he clearly did not need to do that for a 21 year old who he had just met. Dinesh sirji was really a gem, I am sure after watching this podcast that Dayaji is as well because the way he spoke about his early days it feels pure honesty. One thing to add about what he said about body building, Dinesh sir was also huge into health and fitness. Along with the CID team photo, there was an old picture of him flexing his huge biceps. I spoke to him about it and he shared his thoughts about the current body building scene and how people wanted quick results and instant gratification with the inclusion of Whey protein and anabolics being a very common thing today. He used to consume raw eggs, dry fruits and milk (back in his time) to obtain that body and it took him years to do that. I share this with everyone over here just to re-emphasize on how genuine this podcast is, the CID team is really like a tight knit family with everyone following a similar thought process, background and principles that they live up to. Being a skeptic myself, I always doubt how genuine these podcasts are but this one is definitely one. Dayanandji, if you are reading this then let me tell you, you have the greatest of the greatest admiration from at least the 3 generations that I am aware of and I hope and wish the very best for CID Season 2 and am genuinely excited for the return. :)
