A tarot card reader prophesizes to Rajeev, that he should avoid water as it can be fatal for him! Meanwhile, he decides to sell his company - a move that is opposed by the trade union. Amidst all the tension he decides to retire to his tenth-floor room in the hotel. The elevator gets stuck and by the time he is brought out, he is drenched in water and found unconsious. Forensic report shows that he had collapsed from drowning! CID has to solve the bizarre mystery of a person drowning in an elevator!

At every stage, the plot throws up intriguing twists and turns to keep the officers on the move as they track criminals, led by the smallest of clues.
