Personally not a ships fan, but I always thought Cloud & Aerith are the canon ship. I can’t see it any other way. But I feel for Tifa because Cloud is literally the only one she actually has from her past. So tbh, Cloud will always be a loner and fans will ship everyone with him but he will never do anything 🤣

This next new FF7 Rebirth trailer was SO EXCITING!!! We finally saw CID and he looks and sounds awesome! We saw Barret's old buddy Dyne too and he looks cool too! However despite what Marlene just said don't jump to conclusions yet cause her getting killed might still not happen hopefully. Also I still ship Cloud & Tifa and we WILL still have that option to try and make that happen. Anyway I am SO looking forward to this game!😁✊🏿

It's called "No promises to keep" BECAUSE of the other relationships Cloud has with Tifa, and Aerith with Zack being stuck on a promise. The trailer also features A LOT of Cloud and Aerith on purpose.

The singer Loren Allred confirmed she had to learn a lot about Aerith and cloud to find her connection to the characters.
