CIE Bus Driver Training Film (1965)

This Video is taken from a well known CIE driver training film. It starts in Clonskea south Co. Dublin with RA26 and moves on to the Broadstone driving school. R729 is the bus on 'Skid Pan' which is now part of Phibsboro garage.

From 4.00, 4.21 and 4.51 the instructor must have been an actor in the C.I.E film club. He shows us how to drive the bus in adverse conditions from his cab. He releases the hand brake and when the scene changes back to him he puts the hand brake back on. In all three clips notice the bus has not moved 1 inch. Prob not even him driving the bus in the first place. But I do miss those old buses.

is it SHITE taken from a well-known CIE training film? It's actually an excerpt of an edition of the Discovery documentary series on RTE called 'Bus Driving' and I should know because I converted and downloaded the full episode last year!
