Edit: Guys, I even said Green Day. Let’s all agree that a replacement Carine made this video. I want to clarify a couple of things I said in the video: The officials failed to call a pass interference on the play. The NFL later released a statement admitting that offensive pass interference did occur, which would have resulted in a Packers win. I mentioned that the Packers could have returned the PAT for 2 points to win the game. It's an implausible scenario, but it's worth mentioning because even by modern rules, the Packers would have had to return to the field for the conversion. Clearly, the ASMR was getting to me by the second half of this video! I even managed to give out the date "on September 2012" 😂

I'm a relatively new fan of the channel. I'm from South Africa, so 90% of the time, I have no clue what you're talking about. Football is a complete mystery to me. I don't even know what a "Hail Mary" is. But here I am, enjoying this high-quality ASMR. Keep doing what you do!🫡

Haha respect it. A Hail Mary is usually just a really desperate, unlikely, and long last minute pass hoping for a Touchdown or any other possible points

:o i dont know if you made this one based on my recommendation but im glad its here. As a Seahawks fan I loved this, as an NFL fan....also i feel for packers fans, we've screwed them an unbelievable amount of times 😂

The NFL Ref Lockout is one of the biggest examples to point to for "Oh, you think you can do this job?" I would expect that at least some of the replacement refs could have made it working up the normal way, but with entire crews coming together from scratch, everybody got to make all the rookie mistakes piled on top of each other with nobody experienced in the role to smooth things out. One of the problems before (and during) the Fail Mary was the delays from the crews talking together to get things right and so the boring bits of officiating became visible, and all on national television.

Thank you for the history lesson, moreso since it involves the Seahawks who I would now die for. Full-on deep dive into NFL/American Football has begun What a nuts end to the game. Watched the clip of the play three or four times after watching this video and I still can't see how it's not an interception by Jennings, regardless of the pass interference. Wonder if tech has advanced enough in NFL that it wouldn't be given today. Anyway, Go Seahawks

I can't help but associate the Seahawks with Super Bowl XLIX. You should definitely look up how that one ended when you're feeling brave ;) I feel like this one could go either way even today! Some people do argue that officials will rarely give pass interference penalties on hail mary passes.
