+EAGLESTAR MARTIN I can't say for sure, but I'd guess cigar box fiddles were used as inspiration for this fiddle. Also, the top looks like it's from a cigar box. And again, this entry on pochette fiddles is a cool one. www.owenmorse-brown.com/pochette.htm
