The string length scale looks pretty long... longer than the "usual" 24 -25 (or so) inches?

This is relative to the size of box. The larger the box the fewer the frets. Scale length considered. A smaller box has a longer neck. I have a 25" Scale neck on a smallish Tabak box with 24 frets. A Del Puckett original...but don't fret...

mgb came up with their flat single coil only 8 weeks after the release of the Flatpup "Slim". - Coincidence? I don't think so. That guy is selling China copies of my Flatpup since 2017. What is great is that even at their much lower coil windings people love my creations. Nevertheless, they also love ceap copycats.

Elmar Zeilhofer in a world of big business this is an unfortunate reality. How many pickup makers now build inexpensive versions of fender and Gibson pickups.
