I don’t quite understand why the rating system includes the suggestion of a single when SB doesn’t offer a single (unless it’s some ridiculously overpriced cigar). Thank Jupiter for Neptune Cigar.

Fair point! I guess when we started the Blind Reviews, we wanted it to appeal to the everyday cigar enthusiasts more than just SBC Patrons We went back and forth quite a bit on what the most useful rating would be, and it seemed like what you’d tell your friends was more helpful than a 100-pt score Most of our Small Batch Family also visit cigar lounges though, so a single rating seemed to be useful. It says grab one in case you love it, but don’t overcommit in case you have the same experience I did with it
